I might try adding some broth for that extra moist goodness, myself.

I need to start making other bloggers' recipes. I've been very frazzled lately and everything's been coming out of the same two cook books. I need to live a little!Ashasaralahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12082289090991930433noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-25669750.post-44652511920832134902008-03-03T18:51:00.000+10:002008-03-03T18:51:00.000+10:00I need to try those black bean burgers for sure!I need to try those black bean burgers for sure!TBhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05644211871681782561noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-25669750.post-3589181577431526282008-03-01T04:40:00.000+10:002008-03-01T04:40:00.000+10:00aren't we so lucky to have such great cooking blog...aren't we so lucky to have such great cooking blogger friends?Lori- the Pleasantly Plump Veganhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01699666546756497381noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-25669750.post-62543922871795513142008-03-01T04:10:00.000+10:002008-03-01T04:10:00.000+10:00Ooooh, mango blackberry pie! I wish we had blackberries on hand like you do. I've been thinking about substituting cashews for the whipped vanilla topping in the recipe, or maybe half tofu and half cashews.

Agar can be a little tricky, and I just read somewhere that acidity lessens its gelling properties. So more fruit means more acid means less gelling, I guess!

And your aloo paratha looks delicious - I always thought it's really complicated to make!

-Anni.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-25669750.post-3688327879694629802008-02-29T15:01:00.000+10:002008-02-29T15:01:00.000+10:00eek, your chapatis look soooo perfect! And I tend to make the potatoes a day in advance, too.

I also love the Raspberry Blackberry Mango Lime pie variation, more fruit = always better. And Asha's burgers sound great! I love it! I'm usually more satisfied than I am with cookbooks because the blog authors always give their own personal touch and explain far more.

That said, I must try Kamutflake Girl's recipe because it's just too delicious-looking!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
