We're off for a few relaxing days in
Mission Beach, full of sand, rainforests, spanish castles, and quiet. Sure, Mission Beach is practically in our backyard, but we decided that we'd be better off staying close by and splurging on
accommodation (have you seen the price of petrol lately?!). We got a last minute deal on a fancy pants Spa Bungalow, so we'll be living it up in style for three days and two nights. I'll be back to blog reading and posting next week!
Sounds great - have fun!

ReplyDeleteI'm so jealous, but equally happy for you!!! I can't wait to read all about your vacay...maybe we'll check out Mission Beach next year when we're out there. You going to do any SCUBA?
ReplyDeleteHey Theresa, we always stayed in the Sanctuary in Mission Beach. It's a rainforest eco lodge and very affordable (and very unique, too). The huts (= rooms) have mosquito nets instead of walls and are very private in the middle of dense rainforest. Check it out next time you go. http://www.sanctuaryretreat.com.au/index.html
ReplyDeleteHave fun!
ReplyDeleteLooks like a relaxing place- enjoy! I'm not sure about the price of petrol, but I can def. agree that gasoline is expensive! ;)
