Theresa is a PhD student, studying Aboriginal activism and social movements. Veganism was the next logical step in her critique of capitalism and exploitation. Originally from the Adirondacks (Upstate NY), Theresa is living in the tropics, working on her degree. She loves cooking, gardening, and reading, and she lives with her nearly vegan partner, Andy. In December 2007 they adopted a kitten, Nacho. Nacho shows up a lot in this blog.

My footprint is 3.3 global hectares. The average Australian footprint is 7.6 hectares. Worldwide, there exist 1.8 biologically productive global hectares per person. If everyone lived like me, we would need 1.8 planets. Find out your footprint: http://www.myfootprint.org/
